Watersports especailly wind sport are highly practiced on the peninsula. The Meltemi wind during the summer months makes the hearts of windsurfers, kiters and sailors beating faster …Snorkelling, swimming, diving. The sea is wonderful - clear, clean and warm. There are plenty of very interesting natural and historical underwather sites. We organize daily diving tours and also diving courses with licensed intructors. We are also partner of fenerwindsurf, which is one of the important windsurf and kitesurf centers in Bodrum.

Eating and drinking - so important!! especially during your holidays. In your holiday home you have the possibility to prepare your own meals, but enjoy from time to time one of the Special Turkish restaurants. Turkish cuisine is one of the richest in the world. There is the well known döner kebab everywhere but also plenty of other delights to discover.

Don't miss the Fener Restaurant right at the lighthouse on the road between Turgutreis and Akyarlar, also Mehtap Restaurant in Akyarlar where you can see a beautiful moonrise, Gümü?lük's famos fish restaurants.
In Bodrum downtown there is every kind of restaurants, bars and nightclubs.
There is a lot to see on Bodrum peninsula: the St. Peter Castle, the Mousleum, the Antic Theater, the Myndos Gate and the rabbit island at Gümüslük, the ruins of Aspat, the Kadikalesi castle and the ruins of an old greek orthodox church. Not to forget the old wind mills and the different hills of Bodrum. For a day trip we would recommend you Ephesus, which is only 160 km away from Bodrum. Milas and Pamukkale are also worthwhile destinations. Or, a day trip with the ferry boat to the Greek island Kos. After you have seen all the historical places, you will enjoy a boat trip to one of the hidden bays on the peninsula.
There is a lot to see and enjoy in Bodrum. Especially men should not miss to go to one of the "Barbers of Bodrum". They will cut your hair very professionally and at the same time you will get a perfect shave and your little hairs in nose and ears will be "burned" away. There is also a neck massage included in the price which is normally only about 30% of what you would pay for a simple haircut back home.

A visit in a hamam is very relaxing and brings you back to yourself in a special way.
In and around Bodrum there is very good organized public transportation system. For short distances you can use the Minibuses, also called Dolmoosh. You can enter the Minibus either at the bus station or just stop it like you would stop a taxi at home. Give the driver a sign if you want to leave the bus. Normally there a price lists in the minibus. If you use a taxi always make sure that counter is set right. If the little light is on next to Gece the driver is using the night rate which is a higher price, for after midnight. Gündüz is the rate for the day. For longer trips you will find very modern buses with air conditioning at the local bus stations.
